Augmented reality is one of the most promising technologies of the 21st century. AR applications are used in every industry: from the e-commerce, through the industry, to medicine. Every year technology is improved and becomes a known and useful tool that revolutionizes traditional processes.
Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that real-time complements our world with digital content using devices – tablets, smartphones, and smart glasses. Thanks to the high quality of digital content, the person removes the boundary between reality and the artificially created world. AR technology extends (or complements) reality by introducing virtual information into it.
To put it differently, when a person uses AR technology – he sees something virtual in the real world. The smartphone or smart glasses display shows the user a physical world with added virtual objects. A good example is the markers on the map in the phone’s interface to indicate where the user has to go. Another known example is Pokemon Go.

More advanced AR systems allow room scanning and even a complete change of walls in the user’s home as if they were applications on a computer screen.

In combination with equipment that is becoming stronger and cheaper, the coming years will be the key to the development of augmented reality.

Augmented reality technology is used to scan product packaging to unlock more mini games. Therefore, the user buys more tasty products to play the next game levels.

The Totem AR app allows you to revive any book. In a few simple steps, you can add digital AR content to your book, so that each page will be interactive. The aim of the project was to make a convenient application for the printing house, which gives their partners the opportunity to share in their books various materials in augmented reality. The project is dedicated to sales representatives of the Colian group – one of the largest FMCG producers in Poland.
We have prepared an interactive promotional catalog with the use of augmented reality technology. AR app lets sales representatives show their clients a modern catalog that presents new products in 3D along with their key advantages. In addition, the application allows you to view various sales shelves available for POS in AR.
